Agnes T. Fry

Agnes T. Fry, 94, of Mishawaka, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, in Healthwin, South Bend.

Agnes was born May 20, 1926 in Mishawaka, to the late Samuel and Lillian (Nicholas) Kalil. She lived her entire life in Mishawaka until moving a few years ago to South Bend to live with her daughter, Sandy.

Agnes was employed for many years in supervision at Nylon Craft in Mishawaka. She was a longtime member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Mishawaka. She enjoyed taking meticulous care of her home.

Agnes married Kenneth F. Fry on February 8, 1947 and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her eight siblings, Philip Kalil, Mary Mansour, Sister Rose Kalil, PHJC, Louis Kalil, Ruth Kalil, Ann Seward, John Kalil and Verna David.

Agnes is survived by her four children, Sandra (Terry) Dobrucki, Thomas (Mary) Fry, Christine Johnson and Bryan (Debbie) Fry; ten grandchildren, Garrett (Dawn) Johnson, Michelle (Randall) Mack, Angela (Chad) Grabner, Julie (Phil) Peltz, Shannon (Amy) Dobrucki, Lindsay Marker, Brooke Fry, Zachary (Melissa) Fansler, Bryan Greene and Allison Greene; and nineteen great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, May 3, in St. Monica Catholic Church, 222 W. Mishawaka Ave., Mishawaka, with Rev. Jacob Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 am on Monday in church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Riley Children’s Hospital or Ronald McDonald House Michiana.
