Anthony “Tony†T. Northcutt, Jr., 37, of Mishawaka, passed away Thursday morning, October 13, 2016 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Tony was born December 6, 1978 in South Bend, a son of Anthony and Karon (Miller) Northcutt, Sr. He grew up in South Bend and was a graduate of Marian High School. Tony earned an Associate’s Degree from ITT Technical Institute. He served his country in the US Army from 2002 to 2006.
Tony was employed as a Safety Analyst for the trucking industry. He had a great love of music and was talented on the guitar and piano. Tony was blessed with the gift of playing instruments by ear. He also loved photography. Most of all, his family and especially his children were the most important part of his life.
Tony’s surviving family includes two daughters, Errolyn Northcutt and Isabella Northcutt; his parents, Anthony “Tony†and Karon Northcutt, Sr.; his brother and wife, Adam and Casey Northcutt; two nephews, Austin and Camren Northcutt; a niece, Jayda Northcutt; a grandparents, Ann Miller and Phyllis Northcutt; and several aunts and uncles and especially, Joseph and Teresa Kucharski, Junior and Rhonda Miller, and Jerry and Glenna Miller.
Tony was preceded in death by a grandfather, Woodrow T. Miller, Sr.
Services honoring Tony’s life will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, October 19, in Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. 3rd Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Christopher Lapp officiating. Burial will follow in the Veterans Section at Fairview Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by VFW 360 / American Legion 161 Burial Squad.
Friends may spend time with Tony’s family from 6 - 8 pm Tuesday, October 18, and 12 noon - 1 pm Wednesday in the funeral home.
