Beth (Kamm) Reising, 89, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on August 4, 2024 at Hubbard Hill in Elkhart, Indiana. Beth was born on January 20, 1935 in Mishawaka to Clarence and Josephine (Goeller) Kamm. She graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1953 and from Saint Mary’s College in 1957 with a degree in elementary education. On September 20, 1958 she married Kenneth Reising in St. Joseph’s Church, Mishawaka.

Beth was employed by the School City of Mishawaka and by the Gibson County, IN school system in Ft. Branch, IN. Returning to Mishawaka, she was co-owner of Liz-Beth Creations, a craft and bridal shop.  She loved traveling, researching family genealogy, and cheering for the Fighting Irish and Chicago Cubs.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka and also active in the Christ Child Society, South Bend Area Genealogy Society, South Bend Area German Heritage Society,  and the Mishawaka High School Alumni Association.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ken, and their three children, Larry (Peggy) Reising of Osceola, Clare Sobieralski of South Bend, and Suzanne (Lowell) Wireman of Union Mills, IN. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Becky (Kevin) Havel, Mike Reising, Peter Sobieralski, Mary (Lukas) Schmidt, Colleen (Tony) Sanchez, Shannon Tucker, and Andrew Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Suzanne Kamm, and her son-in-law Leo Sobieralski.  The family would like to thank the staff at Hubbard Hill for the wonderful care they provided Beth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated August 8, 2024 at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Mishawaka.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Friends may call at Wells & Cruz Funeral Home 4:30-7:00pm on August 7, where a rosary will be said at 4:00pm. (All times Eastern Time Zone) Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Child Society and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Mishawaka.
