Carol A. Baldwin, 80, of Mishawaka, passed away Friday afternoon, May 22, 2015, in Hospice House, South Bend.
Carol was born May 20, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Adolph and Josephine (Cervenka) Koudelka. She grew up in Cleveland and was a graduate of Marymount High School.
On October 12, 1957, Carol married Richard Baldwin while he was serving in the military, stationed in Germany. From 1960 to 1978 they lived in Cleveland and then moved to Dyer, Indiana where they resided until moving to Mishawaka in 2009.
Over the years Carol’s occupation was bookkeeping. She was currently a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka. Carol’s past church memberships were St. Joseph Church in Dyer and St. Mary of the Falls Church in Cleveland. She enjoyed flower gardening and caring for her yard.
Carol’s surviving family includes her husband of over 57 years, Richard “Dick†Baldwin; a son, Michael Baldwin; a daughter, Teri (David) DiTommaso; three grandchildren, Matthew, Emma and Nico DiTommaso; a brother, Thomas (Carol) Koudelka; and a sister, Mary Jane (Henk) Schipper.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, May 29, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Mill Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Terry Fisher officiating.
