David Michael Hager, 73, of South Bend and formerly of Elkhart, passed away on Oct 31, 2021 at Creekside Village in Mishawaka. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patricia (Rowe) Hager and granddaughter Hannah Wireman.

David is survived by his son Chris (Danielle) Hager, daughter Rachael (Jason) Parker, sister Amy and brothers Steve and Lance, as well as three grandchildren, Megan Flynn, Kristian Hager and Lauren Hager, one great grandson and five nieces and one nephew.

David was a gifted musician and artist. He played both drums and guitar very well and played in area bands in his youth. As an artist, Dave was gifted in many mediums, including charcoals, inks, watercolors, acrylics, and stained glass. He was also an accomplished builder of hand-made silver flutes & piccolos at United Musical Instruments in Elkhart for many years.

Memorial Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

There will be no public services.

Arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
