Deborah Sue Sheneman

Deborah Sue Sheneman, 70, of Mishawaka, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
Debbie was born April 16, 1952 in South Bend and grew up in Clay Township.
On August 15, 1986, Debbie married Randy Sheneman and the couple have lived in South Bend and Mishawaka. She was employed in housekeeping at Healthwin for many years. She enjoyed needle work and watching crime documentaries. Debbie loved the many cats she had over the years. She also liked camping at Rogers Resort at Lilly Lake, Jones, Michigan.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Randy; three sons, Adam (Sarah) Smith, Jason (Angie) Smith and Zachary Sheneman; three sisters, Charlene (Gary) Applegate, Linda Fleese and Kathy (Dan) Belich; two brothers, David Conard and Rev. Fr. Robert VanKempen; eleven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret VanKempen; father, John Conard; step-father, Henry “Hank” VanKempen; and brothers, Charles and Bill Conard.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5 – 7 pm on Tuesday, May 24, at Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. 3rd Street, Mishawaka. Cremation has taken place.
