Dora J. Falk, 90, of South Bend, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, May 26, 2014, in Hospice House, South Bend.
Dora was born December 19, 1923 in Mishawaka, a daughter of the late Willard and Bertha (Miller) Craig. She mostly grew up in Mishawaka and was a 1942 graduate of Mishawaka High School.
On March 21, 1946, Dora married Ray E. Falk. The couple lived most of their married years in South Bend and Mishawaka. They wintered for many years in Avon Park, Florida.
Dora and Ray owned and operated the Dog N’ Suds on McKinley in Mishawaka for several years. In her earlier years she worked at Ball Band and the Falk’s also operated a small farm at one time.
Dora was a former member of Albright United Methodist Church in Mishawaka. She enjoyed fishing and putting puzzles together.
Dora’s family was an important part of her life. Those surviving her include a son, Daniel “Danny†Falk of South Bend; a daughter, Constance “Connie†(Richard) Beck of Walkerton; a granddaughter, Debbie (Mike) Earles of Niles; four great grandchildren, Adam, Brandon, Conner and Hannah Earles; a great-great grandson, Braxton Earles; and a sister, Mary Soales of Niles.
Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; a grandson, Gregory Falk; and a brother, Robert Craig.
Following Dora’s wishes there will be no public services or visitation. Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
