South Bend, IN 46628, on Saturday, October 5, 2024, with Pastor Reed Anderstrom presiding.  Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home of Mishawaka has been entrusted with his care.

George was employed as a custodian for many years in the Michiana area before his retirement in 2008 from Crown International. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and a longtime member of Calvary Church in South Bend, where he proudly served as a Deacon for many years. He was always willing to lend a hand, whether it was during church events, dinners, or while serving in ABF classes.

George had a deep love for cooking and baking, and his famous cinnamon rolls, freshly baked breads, and pies were well-known among his friends and family. After church services, he often invited friends over to share his delicious creations. Many who tasted his treats would ask for his recipes, and George happily shared them. He also passed on his passion for baking to his daughters and grandchildren, and they loved spending countless hours with him in the kitchen.

Known for his warm sense of humor, George loved to play practical jokes and tease those closest to him. He was patient, kind, funny, and generous—a man who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
