Greg's faith was an integral part of his life. For 14 years, he served as the Director of Religious Education at St. Anthony Catholic Church, guiding and nurturing the spiritual growth of countless parishioners. Following this, he dedicated 16 years to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka, where he continued his mission of deepening the faith of the community. Greg tirelessly assisted numerous priests and seminarians throughout his years of service. He found great joy in his role as the sacristan on Saturdays, meticulously preparing the church for Mass by arranging the sacred vessels and lighting the candles. Greg's love for history was evident in his weekly contribution to the church bulletin. Through his column, "History Corner," he shared fascinating insights into the rich heritage of the Catholic Church, connecting the past with the present.
Greg had a passion for genealogy and was dedicated to preserving his family's history. He would spend hours researching his family’s past and even enjoyed visiting cemeteries to find records of his ancestors, ensuring their memory would live on for generations to come.
Traveling was another one of Greg's great joys, and he relished exploring different parts of the world. His favorite destination was Europe, with Paris holding a special place in his heart.
