Jean Ann Morrical, 52, of Mishawaka, passed away Thursday morning, August 25, 2016, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Jean was born July 4, 1964 in Mishawaka, to Jack and Janice (Michels) Morrical. She lived in the area her entire life.
Jean loved children and was employed as a nanny. She attended St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger. Jean was artistic and had a beautiful singing voice. She was loved by all.
Several years ago, Jean developed an illness which confined her to a wheelchair. She formed a support group named Hi Society for those with similar challenges.
Jean’s surviving family includes her mother, Janice Morrical; three siblings, David (Sandra) Morrical, Julie (Luis) Lamar and Brett Morrical; nieces and nephews, Victoria, Tristan, Christian, Braden and Reagan; extended family members; and many wonderful friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her father, Jack Morrical.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 29, at 10:30 am in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, with Monsignor William Schooler officiating. Burial of Jean’s cremated remains will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Jean’s family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 - 10:30 am in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Pius X Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Care, Mishawaka.
