John A. Levy, 66, of Granger, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020.
John was born May 18, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Jack and Marilyn (Thomas) Levy. He grew up in Chicago and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University in Evanston. He later earned a Master’s Degree from University of Notre Dame.
John married Katherine F. Pfettscher in South Bend on June 22, 1978. The couple made their home in Granger.
John owned and operated Wintergreen Systems in Elkhart. He was a business owner and entrepreneur during his long career, and he enjoyed working with clients.
John was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Mishawaka.
John’s surviving family includes his wife of over 41 years, Kathy; his brother, Steve (Carolyn) Levy of Jacksonville, Florida; his sister, Nancy (Robert) Farrell of McLean, Virginia; and nieces and nephews—Steve Levy, Kenneth Levy, Kristen Price, Lauren Linger, Walt Smith and Lena Rudzinski.
John was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Levy.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 28, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 437 East Dragoon Trail, Mishawaka.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 noon on Tuesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
Arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
Don’t worry, sooner or later I’ll be home.
