Judith Anne (Hull) Patel, 63, of Laurinburg, North Carolina, and formerly of South Bend, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012.
Judy was born November 26, 1948 in South Bend, a daughter of the late Donald F. and Mary Virginia (Smith) Hull. She grew up in Mishawaka and lived in South Bend before moving to North Carolina.
Judy was employed many years by the State of Michigan, Social Services Division; and was a teacher in South Carolina.
Survivors include: a sister, Mary Pat Hatcher of South Bend; a brother, Ronald Hull of Mishawaka; and a nephew, Sean Hatcher of Seattle, Washington.
Private family services and burial will take place at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to YWCA of St. Joseph County - Crisis Services, in memory of Judy Patel.
Arrangements are in the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
