Margo S. (Christman) Klein, 81, of Mishawaka, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Golden Living Center, Mishawaka, with her family by her side.
Margo was born August 12, 1936 in Mishawaka, a daughter of the late Henry and Erma (Rumple) Christman. She lived most of her life in Mishawaka and lived a short time in Bremen.
Margo was known as a hard worker and was employed over the years as a waitress and also worked at Fargo Plastics in Mishawaka. She enjoyed cleaning her home as well as cooking for her family and in particular her fried chicken, pork chops, fried potatoes and homemade gravy.
Margo’s surviving family includes her son, Rick Andrews of Bremen; her daughter, Gayle (Terry) Graverson of Bremen; her brother, Terry Christman of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and companion of 21 years, Fred DeSmith.
Margo was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria “Sis” Haeck; three brothers, Bill, Max and Wilbur Christman; and a sister, Bonnie.
Following Margo’s wishes there will be no public services.
