Marline “Ene” J. Peddycord, 74, of Mishawaka, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Walkerton.

Ene was born February 14, 1939 in Medaryville, Indiana, a daughter of the late Earl and Clara (Hamilton) Olds. She grew up in Grovertown. On March 3, 1956 she married Milo E. Peddycord. They lived in North Liberty before settling in Mishawaka.

Ene was employed at Michiana Auto Painters and Hoffman Brothers. She was a member of the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Lodge. Ene made many of her children’s clothes while they were growing up. She enjoyed canning and baking. She especially adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ene’s surviving family includes her three daughters, Kathy (Michael) Pringle of Mishawaka, Debbie (David) Yates of South Bend and Becky (John) Markiewicz of South Bend; her son, Rick Peddycord of Walkerton; a brother, Richard (Mary) Olds; and three sisters, Amanda Lidgard, Marcile Swanson and Helen (Allen) Mechling; eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Ene was preceded in death by her husband, Milo; and three brothers, Charles Olds, Carl Olds and Claude Olds.

Services honoring Ene’s life will be held Tuesday, April 16, at 11 am in Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. 3rd Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Terry Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Friends may spend time with Ene’s family Monday, April 15, from 5 - 8 pm and Tuesday from 10 - 11 am in the funeral home.
