Maurice Dutoi, 96, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away September 13, 2013.

Maurice was born September 1, 1917 in Mishawaka, a son of the late Theophial and Leontine (Christians) Dutoi. He served his country in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Maurice retired from the South Bend Schools.

Maurice was preceded in death by wives, Ruth E. (Meek), Rose M. (Kuluzar) and Cladice V. (Fox) Jordan; and one son, Donald Lee Dutoi.

Maurice is survived by a daughter, Nancy Carrol Epperson Snyder and her husband, Lynn; three step sons, Don L. Jordan, Richard D. Jordan and Charles E. Jordan; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren; and 6 step great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 2 pm Saturday, November 2, 2013, in Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. 3rd Street, with Pastor Erv Mize officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 1 - 2pm Saturday, November 2, in the funeral home.

Private burial will take place in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
