Mavis L. Nichols

Mavis L. Nichols, 64, of South Bend, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021.

She moved to South Bend from Cleveland, Ohio, ten years ago. In Cleveland, she was employed as a nursing assistant.

Mavis is survived by two sons, Karl (Janice) Nichols and Robert (Taylor) Nichols; four grandchildren, KeVon Vernon, Karl Nichols II, Natalia Nichols and Aubrey Nichols; a brother, Terry Nichols; a sister, Mary Lou Nichols; her companion, Al Parker; and a very special family friend, Nastassija Spraggins.

Mavis’ family will hold a memorial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mavis’ name are suggested to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County.

Arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
