Nancy Kay Cook, 71, of Mishawaka, Indiana, and Lyndhurst, Ohio, passed away Sunday evening July 18, 2021.
Nancy was born September 23, 1949 in Mishawaka, to the late Harold “Abie” and M. Rebecca “Dolly” (Winey) Cook. She grew up in Mishawaka and was a 1967 graduate of Mishawaka High School. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Albion College.
Most of Nancy’s adult life was spent living in Lyndhurst, Ohio, and in recent years she resided part of the time in Mishawaka. Over the years, she worked in several management capacities for Key Bank. Nancy was a member of the Prairie Club in Michigan and Cleveland Hiking Club. She was an avid walker and also a sports fan, particularly of the Cleveland Indians. She enjoyed time spent at the family cottage on Lake Michigan.
Nancy is survived by her sisters, Rebecca Ann Doar and her husband, Timothy Doar of Oak Park, Illinois, and Sally Jane Cook and her husband, Timothy Farley of Kirksville, Missouri; and four nephews, Spencer Doar, Nicholas Farley, Abram Farley and Thaddeus Farley.
Family services with burial will be held at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Indiana.
