Patricia Anne Schultz, 85, of Elkhart and formerly of the Osceola and Mishawaka area, passed away Friday morning, December 21, 2012, in Woodland Manor.
Pat was born July 16, 1927 in Clearwater, Florida, to the late Harry S. and Esther (Vinson) Beamer.
On September 30, 1950 in St. Monica Catholic Church, Mishawaka, she married Carl W. Schultz. He passed away in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Beamer; and a granddaughter, Rhonda.
Pat’s surviving family includes sons, Kevin (Wanda) Schultz of Osceola and Kerry (Janeen) Schultz of Columbia City; three grandchildren, Amanda Schultz, Christine Beets and Diane Beets.
Pat was employed as a bookkeeper for area businesses. She formerly owned and operated Pirates Cove Friendly Corner in Mishawaka. Pat was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mishawaka and the Auxiliary of the American Legion in Osceola and served as their chaplain for many years. She enjoyed sewing and crossword puzzles.
Friends may spend time with Pat’s family on Wednesday, December 26, from 9 - 11 am in Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. 3rd Street, Mishawaka.
Services honoring her life will begin at 11 am on Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Scheidt officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
