Randy Paul Marchant

Randy Paul Marchant, 63, of Mishawaka, passed away Tuesday evening, July 13, 2021, in Center for Hospice Care - Raclin House in Mishawaka.

Randy was born August 24, 1957 in Mishawaka to Harold “Hal” and Joyce (Lindzy) Marchant. He was Senior Class President of his 1976 graduating class of Penn High School. He earned a Bachelor’s in History from IUSB and during that time he enjoyed a college trip to London, England.

Randy married Jolene Callahan on December 19, 1987 and she preceded him in death in 2009. He was also preceded in death by his father, Hal, in 2018.

Randy is survived by his mother, Joyce, and his brother, Jeffrey (Beth) Marchant.

Over the years, Randy was employed at AM General and also worked in sales and security at various businesses. He was a member of the Episcopal Cathedral of St. James in South Bend and also the Train Collector’s Association. He enjoyed Civil War Reenactment activities and railroad history.

Requiem Eucharist will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 19, in the Episcopal Cathedral of St. James, 117 N. Lafayette Blvd., South Bend, with Rev. Terri Bays officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.

Visitation will be from 3 – 5 pm on Sunday in Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 West 3rd Street, Mishawaka, and from 10 – 11 am on Monday in the Cathedral.
