Richard “Rick” A. Weber, 63, of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 20, 2021.

He was born December 2, 1957 in Mishawaka to Ralph and Angela (Steenbeke) Weber. He grew up in Mishawaka and attended St. Joseph Grade School and Mishawaka Schools. Rick earned an Associate’s Degree from Ivy Tech.  Rick proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Rick was last employed at South Bend Specialty Hose. He was a member of Oak Creek Community Church in Mishawaka. Through the Church he participated in mission trips to Haiti and helped in many activities within the Church. He loved to talk about God’s love for us. Rick was a sports fan; he particularly liked the Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame football and basketball. He enjoyed painting miniature figurines, spending time outdoors, and camping. Rick also liked talking politics as long as you agreed with him.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Ralph, and a brother, Larry.

Rick is survived by his mother, Angela Weber; four siblings, Becky (James) Holbert, Sharon (Charles) Wiley, Tim (Mary) Weber and Pam (John) Heckman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held from 2 – 3 pm Friday, March 19, at Oak Creek Community Church, 833 Lincolnway East, Mishawaka with a Memorial Service to follow at 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Creek Community Church or to Rick’s family to assist with funeral expenses.

Arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
