Sheila M. Rose, 55, of Mishawaka, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Sheila was born October 30, 1966 in Mishawaka to the late Glen and Mavis (Clardy) Rose. She was a 1985 graduate of Mishawaka High School. During those years she was active with Camp Fire Girls and earned their WOHELO award. She attended Olivet Nazarene College and IUSB.

Sheila retired after 24 years with the Warrants Division of the St. Joseph County Police Department where she put her great administrative and organizational skills to work. She was a member of Greater Faith Fellowship and was active in their women’s ministry. She grew up in the Nazarene Church and over the years was a Sunday School Teacher. In recent years, Sheila volunteered for Servants of the Street in Elkhart. She was a creative person and was very talented in making candy and crafts of any kind. She was always willing to help wherever she was needed.

Sheila is survived by her sisters, Mary (Gary) Hurst, Rebecca (Terry) Parker, Jeannie (Dennis) Severns and Regina Rose-Sanchez; nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved, Danell, Matthew, Mitzy, John, Patty, Brooklyn, Brandon and Bryant; many great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

Besides her parents, Sheila was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jose Sanchez.

Services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, December 2, in Greater Faith Fellowship, 59132 Elm Road, Mishawaka, with Rev. Terry Parker leading the service. Following Sheila’s wishes, cremation will follow.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday in Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. 3rd Street, Mishawaka, and from 1 to 2 pm on Thursday in church.
