Direct cremation without rites or ceremonies

• Funeral Home service charge (Basic services of the Funeral Director & Staff, transfer of the deceased to the Funeral Home, refrigeration for the mandated 48 hour waiting period, identification by digital photo only, and use of the utility vehicle)
• Crematory fee
• Basic cremation container (to meet the State of Indiana's requirements for cremation)

The direct cremation package, if purchased separately, would total $3870.00

Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home offers a cremation package discount of $1875.00

*Additional expenses may include memorial services, urns, out burial container, cash advanced items (newspaper notices, death certificates, cemetery expenses, floral arrangements, minister's honorarium, etc...), engraving of the urn and expedited shipping of the choice of urn if necessary. 

Private Family Goodbye

A time for immediate family to gather and celebrate their loved one.

This package includes

• Funeral home service charge (Basic services of the Funeral Director & Staff, transfer of the deceased to the Funeral Home, refrigeration for the mandated 48 hour waiting period, other preparation of the body, private family identification of the deceased prior to transportation to the ceremony, use of the utility vehicle)
• Up to 1 hour of private time for immediate family
• Crematory fee
• Simple viewing cremation container
• Non-Refundable Merchandise Credit - $250 (may be used for permanent urn, outer burial container or keepsakes)
• Placement of obituary on Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care's website

The Private Family Goodbye package, if purchased separately, would total $4720.00

Celebration of Life Cremation Services

A time to gather and celebrate a life well lived. 

This package includes

• Funeral home service charge (Basic services of the Funeral Director & Staff, transfer of the deceased to the Funeral Home, washing and disinfecting the deceased, refrigeration for the mandated 48 hour waiting period, private family identification of the deceased by visual ID or digital photo, use of the utility vehicle)
• Crematory fee
• Up to 2 hours of visitation at Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home or other facility of your choice
• Celebration of Life service at Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home or other facility of your choice
• Shared Memories Memorial Package (Personalized register book, 100 memorial folders, 12 laminated obituaries, & 12 thank you cards)
• Digital video tribute package-including livestream and recording of the service

Traditional Funeral Service Followed By Cremation

A traditional funeral service at the Funeral Home of facility of your choice. 

This package includes

• Funeral Home service charge (Basic services of the Funeral Director & Staff, transfer of the deceased to the Funeral Home, washing and disinfecting the deceased, embalming and other preparation of the deceased, transportation to the crematory & use of the utility vehicle)
• Three hours of visitation the day of or evening prior to funeral services at Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home or other facility of your choice
• Basic memorial package (Photo frame personalized register book, 100 memorial folders, 12 matching themed laminated obituaries, & 12 thank you cards)
• Digital video tribute-including livestream and recording of the service
• Placement of obituary on Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care's website
• Oak or Metal ceremonial casket
• Non-Refundable Merchandise Credit - $250 (may be used for permanent urn, outer burial container or keepsakes)
• Crematory Fee

The Traditional Cremation package, if purchased separately, would total $7530.00

Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home offers a Traditional Funeral Service followed by cremation package discount of $910.00

Traditional Funeral Service followed by Cremation

Many families find meaning and beauty in a traditional funeral service. With a traditional service combined with cremation, you can still choose to have a final viewing, visitation or wake, and a funeral service. However instead of in-ground burial, the funeral will be followed by cremation. Depending on your wishes, the cremated remains may be either returned to your family for storage in an urn, scattered, or interred in a columbarium. This option will include fees for the funeral services as well as the fees associated with the cremation itself.

Memorial Service

The funeral service can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue the family chooses. We work with our families to design a service that honors their loved one with stories, music, or scripture. We also have life celebrants that lead services where clergy may not be chosen. Our celebrants are trained in creating experiences that help start the healing process.

Graveside Service

A graveside or committal service is typically held immediately following the funeral service but it can also be a small intimate gathering of those closest to you.
